        Soma Selepak was celebrating Christmas party on December 24, 2005 at St Jean Bosco Hall. Celebration started with a great performanced by FrendShip band accommondated by the great males and females vocolist.

Khmer Support Centre propose request
On June 5th, 2005 a group of Khmer people in Ottawa chaired by Chamroeun Lay had gather a meeting at 1089 Somerset West to discuss the proposal to request Government of Canada for a Khmer Support Centre in Ottawa.

Ottawa Asian Heritage GALA Concert
On May 16th, 2005 Soma Selepak was invited to join the Ottawa Asian Heritage GALA concert to perform artist from eight Asian Canadian Communities with presented each different program of music and dance. Sina Suos and Polly Pen represented Soma Selepak instructors, performed Boug Soung dance.
Cambodian New Year Celebration
We celebrated our New Year on the moring of April 16, 2005 at Foster Farm Community Centre. In the morning,  VattKhmer Ottawa hosted the religious ceremony, and in the evening celebration continued at Le Patro Community Hall on Courgber Street.
There were alot of people who had come to celebrate our tradition. It began with Khmer Classical Music Band (Doung Jet Khmer) performed thier Mohory songs for about 20 minutes, then Soma Selepak Classical Dance troop performed with 4 different dances (Kbach Bat, Boung Soung, Cocunut Dance and Fan Dance) and finished it with a local pop lives music, Friendship Band, until 1:00am.

It was an other successful night; alot of people had attended and enjoyed dancing the night with lives music performed by the Friendship Band.
Festival of Culture (June 19 2004)
Soma Selepak had the opportunity to bring two of our classical dances, Ken and Boung Soung, to the Culture Festival at the multicultural shows on June 19, 2004 .  We were very happy to see so many artists and groups performing at the festival.
